WHETSTONE TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Whetstone mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using Whetstone, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What Whetstone Is (and Is Not)

Whetstone provides assessments and tools designed to support clearer thinking, decision-making, and strategic reflection.

Whetstone does not provide legal, financial, medical, psychological, or professional advice. Outputs are informational and reflective only. You are solely responsible for how you interpret and act on any insights generated by the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Whetstone. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Purchases and Access

Whetstone offers both free and paid features.

Paid features are unlocked through a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase processed by Apple via the App Store. Pricing, taxes, and refunds are handled by Apple under their terms

Once purchased, paid features are tied to your Apple ID and may be restored on supported devices using Apple’s restore functionality.

4. No Accounts, No Guarantees

Whetstone does not require account creation.

We do not guarantee specific outcomes, results, or improvements from using the Service. Decisions carry risk. That’s the point. Whetstone helps clarify thinking, not eliminate responsibility.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, copy, or resell the Service

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes

• Interfere with or attempt to bypass access controls or payment mechanisms

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access if misuse is detected.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, assessments, tools, text, and design elements within Whetstone are owned by Hitman Inc. or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

7. Privacy

Our data practices are described in the Privacy Policy, available at:

Whetstone is designed to minimize data collection. We do not sell personal data.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly accurate.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hitman Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or decision-based damages arising from your use of the Service.

Your use of Whetstone is at your own discretion and risk.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
